BEFORE YOUR HUNT

 

Picking the place to book your dream hunt can be a challenging task. With so many options places and prices here at Crown Point Ranch we are as up front as possible. DAY 1  (Arrival Day)

 

Crown Point Ranch is located 45 minutes south of Ft Worth, TX. If you are driving to our ranch we will provide you with a pin location to our front gate. If you are flying to our ranch via Commercial you will fly to DFW Airport and we will arrange transportation to and from the ranch. If you are flying private you will fly into Cleburne airport and we will arrange transportation to and from the ranch. We typically ask our hunters to arrive no later than 2:00pm on the first day of the hunts. Upon arrival you will be greeted by our team who you will be with the whole trip. We will assist in getting you settled into your lodging, sign release forms, check licenses and go over the hunting plans for the trip. That evening we will go out to the stand for our first hunt. After the first evening hunt we will have a large home cooked meal.

Day 2

​

Our first morning hunt will start well before sunrise. Your guide will determine departure time the night before. Typically we will meet up in the boot room and have some coffee and light snacks before heading out on the morning hunt. Our morning hunts typically go until 10-11AM (Unless we harvest your animal before). Once we come back in from the morning hunt you will be served a large brunch. After that you are free to relax in the lodge or partake in any of the ranch activities. Later in the afternoon we will group back up for the evening hunt. Which will follow just like the prior evening hunt.

Day 3 (Departure Day)

Day 3 will begin just like day 2. After this hunt we will get finalized on payment, arrange trophy transportation, taxidermy, meat processing and get you checked out. Typically our guests check out between 11-2pm Arrangements can be made for special check out time if needed.

After Your Hunt

​

After your hunt we love to keep in touch. If we are handling taxidermy or meat processing we will keep you in the loop on the statuses and ensure your trophy and meat safely arrive to your home.  Follow us on social media to see whats happening around the ranch. We see a very high return rate so most guests are booking year after year!
